We are looking for a/an Area Sales Manager  to join our CT_MTCS  team in Kazakhstan .


The primary objective of the role is to generate profitable opportunities and leads of Mass Transfer Components and Services (MTCS) products and services to current and new clients in in the Caspian and Black Sea region.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Holds responsibility for order intake and sales budget;
  • Regular visits to customers in the territory;
  • Develop market strategy with superiors and business partners in C&P, Refinery, TAS and Services;
  • Prepare forecasts and prepare and execute sales plans for the successful exploitation of allocated customer groups and sales areas;
  • When requested prepare and submit tenders in accordance with the company procedures;
  • Co-ordinate the follow up of tenders, liaise with other department personnel directly as appropriate;
  • Participate in negotiations of contracts with clients;
  • On award of contract, to enter and execute the order in accordance with the company procedures;
  • Liaise with engineers in the APT Refinery and Chemical & Petrochemical, Services as well as with other CT offices as necessary;
  • Organize and deliver sales / training presentations;
  • Attend client tender clarification meetings;
  • Development of long-term relationships with customer base;
  • Research and identify new leads and customers within territory;
  • Manage the existing shutdown calendar to ensure full visibility on projects;
  • Produce visit reports;
  • Enter and continually update enquiries in CRM;
  • Record and manage client contact data;
  • Execute annual business goals as agreed during appraisal and in compliance with company internal regulations especially code of conduct;
  • Assess appropriate incoming enquiries to establish potential and priorities.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Possess a degree in an engineering discipline – ideally related to process engineering;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience of sales role;
  • Awareness of process engineering industry;
  • Awareness of commercial systems and procedures including terms of contract;
  • Product awareness - mass transfer and separation technology;
  • Familiarity with range of tower field service capabilities;
  • Understanding of technical drawings;
  • Experience in mass transfer technology is preferred;
  •  time management skills;
  • Good communication skills;
  • IT literate (ability to manipulate data in spreadsheets and databases, familiarity with e-mail);
  • Ability to organize work and manage time without supervision.
  • Languages: Russian and English mandatory.

 

Location: Astana or Almaty.
