Join our Crystallization Team within the Chemtech Division as a Senior Project Manager and help us executing projects in this fast-growing business to the next level.


In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Responsible for the execution of equipment and engineering projects (static, falling film and suspension crystallization) within budget and timeline
  • Manage Projects (customer relationship, schedule, quality, financial) in an international environment throughout all project phases: kick-off meeting, engineering, manufacturing phase, logistics, change orders or claims, commissioning and start-up to warranty period, close-out reports
  • Cooperate close with all internal stakeholders within the project team and management for reporting and escalation
  • Prepare and provide periodically information (data and comments) about Late Cost Provisions, Sub-Supplier Progress, Plan Cost Adjustments, Overdues (payments), Steering Committee in the case of large projects
  • Provide support to sales team during inquiry, offer and negotiation phase


To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Master’s Degree in mechanical and/or chemical engineering, or another engineering discipline
  • Further Education, Degree and/or Experience in Project Management is a must
  • At least 5 years’ experience as Project Manager in an international environment is a must
  • Experience in the chemical industry is a plus
  • You are reliable and communicative and have strong analytical and organizational skills
  • A high degree of independence, visible authority, and negotiation skills with international clients are essential
  • You are customer oriented and have strong communication skills
  • Strong language skills in English, German is beneficial
