Senior Global Mobility Lead and Long-Term Incentive Plan Administrator (100%)

  

Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities

 

  •  Provide the hands-on end-to-end program management to Sulzer’s global mobility strategy, including guidelines, policies, programs, processes, reporting, and analytics aligned to our Sulzer talent strategy, core values, and changes to global talent markets and immigration policies.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for global mobility questions from executives, managers, and employees related to our philosophy and policy.
  • Oversee case management, vendor management and program administration, working as the main point of contact to coordinate assignments, tax consultations, and relocation programs.
  • Manage all vendors including but not limited to service level agreements, contract negotiations, issue resolution etc.
  • Manage service providers on all points of execution on relocation and international assignment issues, and work with international assignees and international local transfers on relocation initiation and execution.
  • Ensure that our vendors and internal partners provide a high-quality experience to employees, managers and business stakeholders by leveraging internal shared services and outsourced partners for transactional activity while focusing themselves on more strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure the execution of international assignments and international local transfer processes are done end-to-end.
  • Benchmark our current policies against internal feedback and external market standards, assess potential opportunities for improvement, and make strategic recommendations for program changes (workflows, tools, policies, budgets, approvals, compliance testing).
  • Partner with HR, payrolls, finance, legal teams to ensure overall reporting and processes run smoothly.
  • Partner with finance teams on the inter-company invoicing of assignment costs.
  • Work on standard international assignment tax issues with outside tax provider and serve as primary contact for employee on basic tax questions and detailed assignment requests.
  • Act as the primary administrator of Sulzer’s equity and executive incentive plans (Performance Share Plan, Restricted Stock Units Plan), including managing the eligible population records, as well as the systems and processes that support these programs.
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with external equity plan administrator to ensure the service provider is delivering a best-in-class online experience for Sulzer’s plan participants and operates in a cost-effective manner.
  • Partner collaboratively with key stakeholders across Sulzer including legal, tax, accounting, payroll, and treasury.
  • Prepare data collection and reporting in support of executive compensation planning, analysis, compliance and disclosure.
      

Your Profile

 

  • 7+ years of global mobility experience, including in-house or consulting experience
  • Ability to work across functions and at all levels of the organization to collaborate and help influence action
  • Ability to maturely handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Self-starter and fast learner requiring minimal directions who can 'hit the ground running'
  • Extensive experience with global mobility processes, programs, and systems
  • Experience managing external vendor relationships.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Exposure to international compensation including an appreciation for the complexity of managing a global population and employer tax and reporting obligations
  • Fluent in German; highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure
  • Organized and focused with global mindset
  • Ability to multi-task and determine priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Consultative with the ability to make decisions holistically, quickly, and decisively
