R&D Technician - Full Time - WinterthurSwitzerland

We are looking for a R&D Technician Bio-polymers to join our Research and Development team in Oberwinterthur.
 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Support R&D engineers in the commissioning of R&D pilot plants for the production of bio-polymers and bio-monomers.
  • Participate to continuous trials of the pilot plants operating in shifts (around 10 days per month)
  • Support R&D engineers in the improvement and preparation and pilot plants
  • Be responsible for the order and maintenance of pilot plant equipment
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety in the piloting facilities

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Technical background as a chemical production technician 
  • Practical experience on field with chemical plants and ideally pilot plants 
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic R&D environment
  • Experience in safe operation practices
  • Good user skills in MS-Office
  • Good knowledge of English (German is a plus)
  • Team player and outgoing personality with a precise way of working
