Internship Rotordynamic - Full Time - Winterthur, Switzerland

We are looking for an Intern Rotordynamic to join our FE_Products, Technology and Digitalization team in Switzerland.

 

Join our Flow Technology Center Team and help us elevate Mechanical Integrity (MI) to the next level. As an intern, you will actively contribute to the development and validation of advanced rotordynamic software tools.

 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Collaborate on the development and validation of advanced rotordynamic analysis tools
  • Act as a beta tester and provide feedback to software developers
  • Define and execute validation test cases
  • Create high-quality documentation, training materials, and video tutorials

 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Master student in Mechanical Engineering or similar field with basic knowledge & interest in rotordynamics
  • Enthusiasm for mechanical integrity and simulation tools (preferably ANSYS and Siemens NX)
  • Basic knowledge in Siemens NX CAD advantageous  
  • Passion for numerical analysis and solving engineering challenges
  • An analytical mindset with a strong focus on quality
  • Good command of English; German is a plus
