Join our Equipment Engineering team within Chemtech division in Switzerland as Design Engineer (m/f) to help us take to the next level. 


In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Constructive implementation of project specific customer requirements and specifications from Basic Engineering into the equipment design
  • Independent preparation of the assembly group drawings and the detailed drawings based on applicable international norms
  • Technical project coordination with main suppliers
  • Regular progress checks and partly quality inspections with local and international suppliers
  • Support of project leaders and customers, in particular with regards to the implementation of technical specifications, requirements, quality and deadlines
  • Sales support during the tendering phase
  • Support the development of our special equipment as well as updating our own internal standards and tools (e.g. ISO Processes, CAD System etc.)
  • Travel approx. 5%


To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • To have a university degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent education and several years of experience with pressure vessels / plant or machine manufacturing
  • You have good know-how in 3d-CAD-systems; experience with SolidWorks is an additional advantage
  • You have already practical experience with codes like ASME-Vlll,1,  AD-2000 Merkblätter and EN 13'445, as well as with quality inspection and acceptance tests for pressure vessels
  • You are fluent in English with good German skills
  • You are a team-oriented and customer focused individual with the ability to assert yourself
