We are looking for a Contract Manager Sales - Technology & Licensing to join our Technology Licensing team within the Polymer and Crystallization organization in Winterthur. 

 

 

The role will work with Sales, Legal, Project Management, Engineering and senior leaders while driving efficiency and reducing complexity in how contracts are managed worldwide. With a broad scope across all business units, exposure to diverse markets and customers and the chance to introduce best practices, this position offers strategic impact, international growth, and real ownership of contract processes.

 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

 

  • Define and implement Chemtech-wide standards for contract lifecycle management in coordination with Legal, Sales, Project Management, and other key functions. 
  • Act as central coordinator for cross-functional contract reviews, ensuring timely input, alignment, and approvals. 
  • Drive harmonization, increase consistency and reduce complexity by promoting the use of approved templates, clauses, and workflows across all Chemtech business units.
  • Support identification and documentation of contractual risks or deviations and ensure appropriate escalation routes are followed.
  • Track and report key contract-related performance indicators (e.g. cycle time, template usage, issue resolution) to increase transparency and accountability.
  • Facilitate sharing of best practices and continuous improvement in contract handling across regions and business units. 

 

To succeed in this role, you will Ideally need: 

 

 

  • Masters degree in Chemical Engineering 
  • Experience working in this or a related field for minimum 5 years 
  • Expertise in contract developments and in the selling of intangible goods is essential
  • A passionate and entrepreneurial mindset with focus on mid-long term goals 
  • Fluency in English
