Business Development Manager - Full Time - WinterthurSwitzerland

We are looking for a Business Development Manager  to join our Polymer & Crystallization business unit in Winterthur, Houston or Singapore. He/ she will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving growth. 
 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Conducting in-depth market analysis to identify trends, potential clients, and emerging technologies related to bio-based feedstocks, recycling, and fine chemicals
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including chemical manufacturers, research institutions, and government bodies
  • Creating and executing business development strategies aligned with our sustainability goals along with identifying new revenue streams and partnership opportunities
  • Working closely with our technical teams to understand our offerings and communicating the value proposition to clients in order to position our sustainable technologies effectively
  • Developing business cases for offered solutions (NPV, IRR, etc.) and preparing compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases for potential clients
  • Attending conferences, trade shows, and industry events to stay informed and connect with industry leaders
     

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Master or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering / Process Engineering / Sciences
  • Minimum of 10 years professional experience preferably in strategic consultancy and / or MBA and / or strategic roles
  • In-depth know-how in market analysis and economic market aspects and application thereof
  • Experience in chemical / chemical engineering / process industry preferred
  • Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
