Global Head of Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health - Full Time - WexfordIreland

We are looking for an experienced leader to join our Industrial and Water Division and take responsibility for overseeing and managing all Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health (QESH) requirements within the business unit, across global multi-site operations, whilst having hands on leadership of the QESH function at our Wexford facility. Your main tasks and responsibilities: 

 

The Global Head of Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health will be responsible for planning and coordinating all related continuous improvement efforts relating to the function globally. Responsible for coaching and training to drive excellent levels of quality commitment, safety awareness and environmental attention through the organization, to embed and develop a positive culture across the organisation.

 

  • Quality: assurance and development of quality management and systems to assure the customer satisfaction and reduction of quality costs
  • ESH: strengthen the safety culture and awareness with harmonized processes and tools towards zero accident, coordinate the actions plans to reduce the environmental load as part of ESG program
  • Ensure that all applicable quality standards are met, support on RCA and respective CAPA activities.
  • Development and update the WIBU wide technical quality documentation (Quality plans, common Q-procedures) together with Product Development and QESH team

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, production or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Quality and ESH engineering functions or equivalent education and experience
  • 7+ years work experience in manufacturing quality management in Europe
  • Work experience in ESH position strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Q & ESH, auditing and inspection techniques
  • Solid understanding of operation processes and functional processes.
  • Knowledge of safety culture development and tools, general understanding of global trends of ESG.
  • Technical knowledge of products and manufacturing processes.
  • Lean six sigma black belt certified desired
