About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Repair Coordinator to join our Toronto Service Center team. This role acts as a key liaison between customers, sales, vendors, engineering, and production departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, quoting, and coordinating repair jobs, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer commitments.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Review RFQ documentation and route appropriately.
- Analyze inspection results and determine scope of repair work.
- Plan repairs including labor hours, materials, and total cost.
- Generate detailed repair quotes.
- Prepare comprehensive work instruction packages.
- Create and review sketches to ISO standards.
- Complete purchase requisitions and evaluate supplier quotations.
- Procure job-specific materials and expedite delivery.
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipping and documentation.
- Communicate regularly with internal departments to ensure schedule compliance.
- Support company-wide LEAN, EHS, and Quality Management initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role.
- Strong technical knowledge of pump repair and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred.
