Join our team as Commercial Excellence Manager in our Water & Industry Business Unit and play a key role in driving growth and profitability.  In this role, you will work closely with the Global Commercial Excellence team, contributing to global initiatives and strategies while driving pricing and value management, optimizing go-to-market models, and enabling sales teams with tools and insights for consistent execution within the Business Unit.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

 

  • Provide the commercial foundations to facilitate growth within the divisions maximizing our productivity and increasing the velocity of our opportunity to order process.
  • Collaboration with sales leadership to co-create Go-to-Market strategies in your business unit by driving channel strategy, key account management, business partner enablement, account and territory planning in collaboration with the global commercial excellence team.
  • Drive Pricing & Value Management by implementing pricing governance, value-based pricing, discount controls, and margin optimization working in tandem with the global commercial excellence team.
  • Ensure adoption of the global sales process and methodology within your business unit by promoting best practices, monitoring compliance, and identifying areas for improvement. Take ownership of driving corrective actions and implementing enhancements in collaboration with the global Commercial Excellence teams
  • Enable Sales Teams through tools, playbooks, training, and adoption of Sales EDGE principles for consistent execution.
  • Optimize CRM & Analytics by driving Salesforce adoption and usage. Support the design and execution of both divisional and global CRM roadmaps.
  • Ensure accurate and structured customer data in CRM systems to enable effective segmentation, precise targeting, and full sales lifecycle management.
  • Optimize and continuously improve commercial business processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and alignment with strategic objectives across the divisions
  • Promote customer experience initiatives by ensuring implementation of surveys, digital tools, and lifecycle programs within the business unit
  • Establish and standardize robust data and analytics frameworks to support consistent pipeline reviews and accurate forecasting across commercial teams. Ensure alignment of tools, metrics, and methodologies to drive visibility, accountability, and strategic decision-making
  • Partner with Marketing to strengthen demand generation, campaign effectiveness, and lead-to-opportunity conversion.

 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

 

  • Master degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred) and 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial excellence, pricing, or sales operations. 
  • Knowledge of Pricing & Value Management, including value-based pricing, discount governance, and margin optimization.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and account management practices in B2B environments.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data-driven forecasting.
  • Advanced analytical skills with ability to perform analytics and build actionable insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and change leadership skills to drive adoption across functions and regions.
