Join our team within Chemtech division in Sulzer Singapore Ltd as Product Line Manager to help us take our business to the next level. 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Joint order intake responsibility with Front Sales for assigned product lines / geographical area.
  • Understand the value chains and market drivers/dynamics. Generate relevant sales strategy.
  • Follow-up market trends, customers and competitors, and propose actions when required.
  • Ensure coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure Sulzer IP interests are preserved (FTO, creation of new IP, defense of existing IP).
  • Assist the Front Sales in exploring the market for new business and acquisition of new customers.
  • In close cooperation with process engineers, lab engineers and product specialist, develop technical solutions and concepts for our customers. This includes in particular the management of the coordination with the crystallization test center in Switzerland (logistic, HSE evaluation, evaluation of test results).
  • Prepare commercial and technical proposals including cost evaluation, price calculation and risk assessment. Define the (value) selling strategy.
  • Timely update of CRM and Sulprice to ensure data quality.
  • Together with Front Sales negotiate commercial and technical proposals with our customers.
  • Participate to fares, trade shows and symposia.
  • Ensure smooth cooperation with front-ed sales in other locations, contribute actively to exchange of knowledge between our international locations.

 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Degree/Master in any Engineering
  • Knowledge of the chemical and polymer industries value chains (familiarity with separation technologies such as crystallization and/or crystallization technology would be an asset)
  • Ideally with several years of experience in the sales of complex technical solutions.
  • Customer focused with excellent communication skills, ability and mind set to build connections and understand the value chain beyond the initial customer requirement.
  • Team oriented with ability to collaborate within a multicultural organization
