Head of Strategic Projects Services APAC - Full Time - Singapore, Singapore

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Drive the implementation of the Corporate/Divisional Strategy in the APAC region. –Adapt/prioritize the strategy to ensure regional relevance, Deploy and monitor Initiatives (milestones, KPIs, goals, teams etc.) to support the strategy

• M&A: Lead M&A function for APAC region: define M&A thrusts, develop pipeline, execute on pipeline in collaboration with Global M&A team (engagement with targets, business plan development, M&A transaction, integration of team members)
• Lead Mission Critical Projects to support  APAC Growth plans: projects include (but not limited to): Footprint expansion, Market Assessment, partnerships, digitalization projects, operational excellence programs, etc.
• Participate and support the management team in the annual strategic planning and budgeting process for APAC region
• Lead and drive the cross functional strategic project teams to ensure that high performance levels are attained
• In addition to the three-year strategic plan, support the annual strategic planning and budgeting process for APAC region
• Benchmark and report on competitor’s business models and major moves
• Summarize industry M&A transactions by region and industry
• Conduct regular peer firm analysis (League table)
• Lead Business Development for EMS and TS to deliver the strategic growth in APAC
• Perform ad-hoc reports and analysis by gathering and analyzing relevant information, selecting the appropriate data resources, and evaluating the output requirements and formats

   

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Master’s in business administration (desirable)
• Technical/ Engineering university degree

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, other languages within APAC region an advantage

• Sound Salesforce knowledge experience desirable

• QlikView/Qlik Sens experience

• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
