Join our team within Services division in Sulzer Singapore Pte Ltd as Head of Sales to help us take our business to the next level. 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

Responsible for the coordination and management of the sales resources within the allocated territory to deliver year on year growth in both volume and margin through developing customer intimacy and identifying opportunities for Services across Pump services (spares, retrofits and pump repairs), Turbo Services (repair and overhaul of Steam Turbine, Gas Turbine, Aeroderivatives and Compressors) and Electro Mechanical Services (repair and overhaul of Generators and large motors)

 

  • To meet OI Budget for SEA across product lines
  • Ensure all Sales & Strategic KPIs are met
  • Channel Partner & Intermediaries Management - To drive and manage our network of intermediaries to further our business objectives and adhere to our ethical standards
  • To mentor RSMs to develop the organisation geographically and professionally in line with our aftermarket strategy and in support of driving volume growth
  • To build customer intimacy at senior levels within customer organizations
  • To introduce RSMs to potential customers at senior levels in their respective territories  
  • To define marketing campaigns along with marketing to penetrate into new customers
  • To drive Sales related strategic initiatives in SEA and develop growth plans for the allocated territory, gain approval from Head of SEA, and implement and execute these growth plans. Support Head of SEA to implement sufficient processes to measure the success of the growth 
  • To co-ordinate and manage the activities including visit plans of the Regional Sales Managers and ensure we develop a culture of aggressive goal achievement – we consistently find ways to deliver our promises
  • To ensure all Regional Sales Managers provide prompt and accurate feedback on outstanding quotes to support effective forecasting – every sales person visibly owns their own prospect list
  • To produce and own the Rolling Forecasts for Order Intake and Order Intake GP% for the allocated territory
  • To support Head of SEA for succession in the organization
  • To support Regional Sales Managers if any issues occur (customer, agents, internal process etc.)
  • To adhere to the reporting requirements for SEA as Regional Sales Director
  • To work closely with the quote & order processing teams to identify opportunities for improvement and jointly develop plans to deliver on these opportunities
     

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Relevant experience within related industry 
  • Experience of implementing sales strategy
  • Knowledge of export sales
  • Financial/budget management
