Area Sales Manager - Gas Turbines - South East Asia - Full Time

At Sulzer, we're seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager, focused on Heavy Industrial Gas Turbine Services, to drive our sales and business development across South East Asia. Our industry-leading product experts offer unparalleled technical support, and our capabilities range from local site services to large machine refurbishment and upgrade. We are committed to investing in and growing our market share in essential industries through key partnerships.

 

As an Area Sales Manager for Sulzer’s East Asia Pacific region, you’ll play a crucial role in driving our success across the region. You will be the face of Sulzer to your customers supporting solutions, driving growth and promoting face to face relationship building.

 

The role can be based at any of our offices across South East Asia.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain strong connections with both existing and potential clients. Understand their unique challenges and collaborate to create bespoke solutions that meet their needs.
  • Carry out in-depth research within your region to uncover new sales leads, focused on the gas turbines offering. Provide insightful market feedback to continuously enhance Sulzer's offerings.
  • Offer support and guidance to customers, showcasing Sulzer's innovative products and services to address complex engineering problems.
  • Pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

  • A proven track record in technical sales and business development in an engineering environment.
  • Significant experience with heavy industrial gas turbines and the Energy and Power Generation Sectors
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A self-motivated, results-driven approach with a proactive problem-solving mindset, ideally with experience in a global matrix environment
