Job Title: Workshop Supervisor

Join our Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Malaysia team within Services Business Unit division as Workshop Supervisor to help us take service operation to the next level.

.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • To ensure all work in the workshop and customer/supplier site to be carried out in the most effective, economically, and technically way.
  • To create a service and repair quotation based on Sulzer rates.
  • To create work schedule for each service and repair job.
  • To be able to use precise measurement tools.
  • To manage all workshop tools and equipment in good condition and calibrated.
  • To supervise technician and 3rd party manpower for overhaul and repair activity at workshop.
  • To perform dynamic balancing on pump rotor accordance to ISO 1940.
  • To perform QAQC check on the service & repair scope.
  • To perform safety walk and observation on based on Sulzer requirement.
  • To ensure all work at the workshop is carried out according to the time frame.
  • To provide technical support in the workshop and site if required.
  • To compile all technical report prior sent to client.
  • To ensure all service and repairing work are within Sulzer quality.
  • To assist the superior for other matters relating to service & repair.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate in vocational mechanical Engineering or minimum O Level/SPM.
  • Experience in machining will be an added advantage.
  • Familiar with API 610 pump.

 

Job experience:

  • > 7 years work related experience mainly in repairing pump equipment

 

 

If you have the relavant qualification with proven expertise in developing professional strategies and driving continuous improvement and take service business to the next step and make the most of your expertise and skills

 

This role is available in Bintulu, Malaysia

 

If you’re University Bachelor qualified with proven expertise in developing professional strategies and driving continuous improvement in Sales take the next step and make the most of your expertise and skills
