Join our Sulzer team within the Chemtech Business Unit as Sales Manager to help us take Chemtech operation to the next level.

 

Job Scope

 

  1. Promote Sulzer solutions for separation and extraction in the refining, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, bio-based, renewables and polymer recycling industries Identify, qualify, and develop leads to create a sales pipeline in close coordination with the application and technical teams.
  2. Interface with customers and develop the opportunities in the sales pipeline to secure projects.
  3. Own and develop business relationships through a consultative selling role

 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

 

  1. Business strategy: Working with Business leadership team to devise and provide inputs to each opportunity to place Sulzer’s offering for a win!
  • Developing Customer process plant mapping
  • Analyze market demand & supply of end-products of our key markets,
  • Study country/Industry environment regulations
  1. Pipeline Management: Identify opportunities and secure order intake based on Sulzer products & technology as well as potential partnership parties
  2. Customer Management: Working across customer organization to build long-term relationship and understanding customer buying behaviors and contractual requirements for closure
  3. Account Management & Cross-Function Selling: Developing and owning key customer plans and functional collaboration across other Sulzer BU’s for develop cross-selling and mutual opportunities with assigned territory
  4. Contractual Management: Understanding on applicable legal terms and conditions to participate and where applicable lead Customer negotiations for timely and amicable closure on sales contracts. Prepare, negotiate, and manage complex contracts.
  5. CRM & Report Management: Regular updates on CRM for all opportunities forecast along with correct pricing to ensure all approvals are in place. Prepare and submit timely and monthly reports of business development activities delivered and planned to business and sales management
  6. Proposal Management: Provide support to developing opportunities in response to RFQ and client requirements, driving customer satisfaction and repeat business. · Break Through Initiatives:
  7. Promoting new Sulzer offering to assign territory as and when applicable.
  8. Professional Networking: Building a strong professional network within the industry and various stakeholders

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

 

  1. Education requirements:
  1. Degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering
  1. Job experience:
  1. Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in one of the target industries: refinery, petrochemical, specialty chemical, bio-based, renewables and polymer recycling industries. ·
  2. Minimum 2 years’ sales experience.
  1. Knowledge requirements (professional, technical, language): ·
  1. Working understanding of chemical processes. ·
  2. Experience with equipment design for chemical processes in at least one of the target industries. ·
  3. Fluent in written & spoken English and local languages 

 

 

This role is available in Subang, Malaysia
