Join our Industry  team within Flow Equipment  division in Chile as Controller Analyst to help us take Finance area to the next level. 

 

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Ensures application of accounting policies and procedures; maintains appropriate internal control standards in accordance with Local GAAP and IFRS.
  • Responsible for A/R collections process, customer credit worthiness check, dunning process, biweekly A/R aging review with local personnel, problem solving and escalation.
  • Responsible for the A/P process, including intercompany reconciliation process. Ensure vendors invoices are accurate and in accordance with purchase orders/contracts. Ensure timely bookings and payments.
  • Weekly cash-flow reporting process.
  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly- end closing activities. Timely Balance Sheet, NWC and Intercompany reporting submission.
  • Performs financial and variances analysis that is compliant with internal and external requirements.
  • Continuous support in processes definition, control, and improvement to comply with the Group Internal Control System and increase the department efficiency.
  • Coordinate the sales invoicing and forecast process. Work closely with data entry, logistics and the factories to understand sales orders status and revenue recognition timelines.
  • Support in treasury management, relationship with banks.
  • Support the Accounting team and execute administrative tasks when required.
  • Maintained orderly company accounting system, files, books and records on all company transactions and assets.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Ingeniería Civil Industrial, especialización finanzas/ Ingenieria Comercial.
  • 3 - 5 years previous experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficient MS Office including Excel (pivot tables, vlookups and others).
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP FICO module is a plus).
  • High English Level/ Spanish native speaking.
  • Desired previous experience in manufacturing companies.
