Join our Services_AME team within Services division in United States as Planner to help us take {Sulzer} to the next level.
In this role you will be accountable for:
- Buying for shop supplies as required to maintain daily operations
- Manage vendor industrial supply accounts, ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Create purchase orders for shop floor maintenance and inspection services
- Manage Gagepack calibration management software, ensuring timely calibration of tooling, inspection of critical infrastructure. Schedule calibrations with outside vendors
- Perform monthly distribution of maintenance record logs for quality and safety
- Perform weekly production safety walks, highlighting risks and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Perform reviews of complete repair documentation for quality control
- Coordinate daily shop toolbox talks with Sulzer QESH team distributed topics
- Lead weekly safety meeting and monthly continuous improvement meeting
- Detailed record keeping for QESH documentation as required for ISO, and retrieval during internal and external audits
- Performs other duties as assigned
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Two (2) years professional buying experience in industry required; pump industry or machined parts experience strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience working in an industrial setting
- Experience with computerized procurement systems.
- Experience in quality and safety management, with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred but not required
