Join our Services_APAC team within Services division in Australia as Control & Protection Engineer to help us take our business to the next level. In this exciting role you will provide technical support to internal and external clients and act as a technical reference authority in control and protection of Electro-Mechanical rotating equipment and auxiliaries such as motors, generators, switchgear and transformers.
In this role you will be accountable for:
- Development of specific test procedures and inspection plan
- Advance testing on the field or in service centers
- Commissioning electrical rotating machines and their accessories
- Diagnostic and Troubleshoot issues with electrical rotating machines in service center and at site
- Develop Root cause analysis (RCA), with recommendations of repair and upgrades
- Develop Technical report and proposal, and support cost estimation
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years technical experience in project and maintenance engineering for electrical rotating equipment and their auxiliaries
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (bachelor or higher)
- Protection and control of electrical rotating equipment experience
- Proficiency in development of control and electrical circuitry
- Ex/Hazardous equipment experience and qualification is valued
