We are looking for a HR Business Partner WIBU Spain (temporary) to join our team and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders. In this role, you will align HR strategies with business goals, driving initiatives in talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management. You will play a key role in fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and supporting the growth and success of our people and organization.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Partner with local business leaders to understand strategic goals and provide HR solutions that support business growth and align with Sulzer’s culture.
- Implement HR initiatives in areas such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, and retention.
- Provide expert guidance on local labor law, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, development, and succession planning.
- Align with corporate HR functions in Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-informed decisions.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives at the local level.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external legal requirements.
- Act as the first point of contact for the local works council.
- Support and implement country-level HR initiatives within the business.
- Assist employees and managers with HR-related topics.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of local labor law
- Minimum of 5 years in an HR generalist or similar role
- Experience working in an international environment
Technical & Language Skills:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Proficient in change management
- Ideally experienced with Workday or similar HR systems
