Join our Sulzer Turbo Services, Purwakarta team within Services Business Unit division as Pump Field Engineer to help us take service operation to the next level.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

 

Responsible for the overhaul, repair, installation & commissioning of pump equipment to support our client. Preparing, coordinating and carrying out inspections and repairs of all pump types at customer sites inside and outside the country, within the specified time and at the estimated cost.

 

Estimated Travel Time: 70% to 80% (national)

  1. Carrying out reparations and inspections inside and outside the country at customer sites.
  2. Provision of safe and effective site and workshop overhaul, repair, installation and commissioning services for pump family rotating equipment.
  3. Be the first point of contact for allocated customers in respect of any issues relating to agreed on-site scopes of work.
  4. Develop strong relationships with key client contacts.
  5. Be responsible for on-site Health & Safety.
  6. Compile on-site Risk Assessments for scopes of work.
  7. Lead and supervise on-site repair teams during site contract execution.
  8. Provide continuous improvement in repair, installation and commissioning activities.
  9. Develop and maintain good and effective relationships with clients to optimise further service opportunities.
  10. Liaise with technical departments within Sulzer to develop engineering solutions.
  11. Manage relevant suppliers and subcontractors.
  12. Compilation of comprehensive site reports in line with company quality management system.
  13. Communication: communicates (in English as well) with Supervisor Field Service, Site Manager, contractors, and internal Sulzer Services departments.
  14. Writing daily reports.
  1. Work with: PC, MS Office package, telephone, hand tools, lifting equipment and gear, Sulzer regulations, OEM instructions, customer rules and regulations and local safety regulations.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

 

  • Fluent English spoken and written.
  • Minimum Diploma degree in Engineer majoring in Mechanical or Electrical
  • Relevant experience of minimum 10 years of working on centrifugal pumps (API610) and rotating equipment
  • Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and data
  • Possess General Knowledge of mechanical and overall centrifugal pump maintenance.
  • Familiar with tools, hand tools, and special tools.
  • Familiar with technical drawing, symbols and legend, P&ID diagram.
  • Familiar with safety code and procedure for startup and commissioning.
  • Achievement Orientation, communication for result, teamwork, active learning, business awareness, problem solving and analytical thinking
