Join our Sulzer Indonesia team within Services Business Unit division as Head of Sales to help us take Indonesia market to the next level.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Responsible for generating and converting enquiries into profitable orders for the customers within their allocated territory.
Estimated Travel Time: 50% to 60% (national and international)
- To contribute to development of growth plans of RESID, gain approval from LE Head, and implement and execute these growth plans that align and support the overall growth strategy.
- To lead sales team and achieves sales objectives to the interest of RESID company business of rotating equipment services in Indonesia and the South East Asia region.
- Developing weekly/ monthly/ annual and seasonal sales targets for the Department, examining growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements, product mix development, and taking responsibility for the department’s performance against targets.
- Identifies the roadmap that will lead to achievement of the Sales Department’s goals as well as the overall goals of the business.
- Implementing sales strategies that further the Department’s agenda and drives enhanced revenue generation for the business.
- To finalize quotations, proposals, and sales agreement under coordination with BOD.
- Review reports periodically (Sales activities and order received report), monthly billing worksheets and assist in collecting A/R.
- Build strong relationship with key customer as well ass to identify opportunities for Sulzer across the entire RES portfolio of services: gas turbine services, steam turbine services, compressor services, pump services, and motor services.
- Lead the opportunity strategy and drive proposal delivery including opportunity identification, strategy development, negotiation, and contract closing.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships at all levels of customer and organization.
- To contribute to the development of the RESID Sales Organization as required.
What you bring to Sulzer:
- Fluent English spoken and written in advance negotiation and communication skills.
- BS Engineering degree or equivalent; MBA qualification will be a plus.
- Relevant sales professional experiences (>=15 year) in the Power Generation industries, oil gas industries, mining industries.
- Knowledgeable of Power Generation industries, business and engineering logic and technology trends.
- Min. 8 years of managing Sales team experiences in min. 5 persons.
- Experienced in closing business deals particularly in rotating equipment services (Gas turbine, Steam turbine, Pump, Motor, and Generator services).
- Able to analyse opportunity risks, competitive analysis, and negotiate terms and conditions of contract.
If you’re University Bachelor/ and or MBA qualification from qualified university with proven expertise in developing professional strategies and driving continuous improvement in general management and sales skill, take the next step and make the most of your expertise and skills
