Project Manager-Process Solutions - Full Time - Pune, India

We are looking for a Project Manager-Process Solutions to join our CT_Process Plants team in India .
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Duties will include working independently, mentoring and leading a team and regular liaison with customers, sub-vendors and suppliers.
- Interface with client throughout project initiation, execution and completion phases.
- At Project Initiation stage, Project Manager shall ensure that the project execution strategy is clear and ensure continuity from marketing stage to execution stage.
- Execution of contract to the client requirements and specifications.
- Ensuring the scope of work, terms and conditions, and specifications are clearly understood and communicated amongst all engineering groups, vendors/suppliers, sub-contractors etc. Arranging Kick-Off Meeting between Suppliers & Engineering (or) Client Personnel's.
- Responsible for Project Sapping, documentation (submission to client and recording in project drives for easy traceability and retrievability).
- Planning of project activities is the responsibility of Project manager.
- Coordination with Engineering Dept: Internally coordinate with discipline lead, design engineers to expedite the review and approval; also ask them to ensure the requirement have been met. Also externally coordinate with overseas vendors/Local suppliers to expedite the vendor submittal's on time.
- It is the responsibility of Project Manager to report progress achieved regularly during execution of project.
- Coordination with End - Users: Coordinate with end users as required on technical approvals of drawings and specification, etc. related to P.O and take necessary action to communicate with vendors.
- Coordinate with Expeditor and Quality function for Inspection at various critical stages of manufacturing as per QAP and project coordination at supplier’s site.
- Develop the original budget, manage changes, determine progress and generate forecasts.
- Project Manager shall be responsible for raising and obtaining approval of Variations to Contract from client for change of work. The Project Manager shall liaise with Engineering & other departments, as required for estimating quantum of work.
- Project Manager shall be responsible for submission of invoices to clients as per contractual terms of payment.
- Project Manager shall advise the Accounts to prepare the invoice based on the completed milestones and / or progress completion (normally monthly invoices), as per the contract.
- Project Manager is responsible to expedite payment receipt with Client and shall report “invoice aging” in the management review meetings.
- In spite of the above efforts, if the payments are held up, the head of department shall decide upon further course of action as per the Contract (Arbitration, Litigation)
- Promote and ensure safety compliance in all areas of responsibility and actively resolve safety issues or concerns
- Ensure project budget is maintained and adjusted as necessary with appropriate client and management communication and authorization.
- Issue "Variations to Contract" to clients, as required.
- Report performance to financial targets.
- Project Manager shall be responsible for preparation & updating of 3R. This report is a tool for Management reporting & compilation of financial data.
- Generate Project Closeout Report and circulation of the project learnings through the project close-out report to all stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- BE Mechanical with 13+ years of total work experience.
- Excellent Leadership skills, Negotiation skills, Cost Management, Analytical problem solving.
- Open to travel as and when required.
- Work Location: Kharadi, Pune.
