We are looking for a/an Head of ORE - WIBU  to join our FE_WIBU  team in India .
 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Localize resources currently used in European factories within ORE.
  • Maintain regular contact with European factories, including potential travel, to improve processes and facilitate localization.
  • Participate in production localization for pump assembly and stainless-steel manufacturing.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing ORE team to meet objectives and deliver best practices, added value, and continuous improvements.
  • Set departmental objectives and KPIs, and regularly review and assess the performance of direct reports.
  • Manage and participate in the COSP process as an operation representative. Coordinate the processing of product notices with the team as an operation representative.
  • Actively communicate within the team and with other departments.
  • Ensure the effectiveness, maintenance, and accuracy of the department's IT systems.
  • Manage safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare and monitor the department's cost budget.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Work experience:  Minimum 12+ years’ experience in international environment, with industrial products, Product knowledge, manufacturing experience, operational processes, SAP ERP, quality behaviour, lean experience, supervising experience
  • Expertise (e.g. professional, technical):      
  • Education:
  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering. MBA is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Manufacturing processes, Engineering and Operational processes, SAP systems, LEAN principals.
  • Structured independent working style, solution-oriented analytical way of thinking and the ability to set priorities.
  • Languages:  Fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
