Engineering InternEngineering Intern - Part Time 50% - Portland (OR), United States

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Intern to join our FE_Products, Technology and Digitalization team in United States.  This position is full time during the summer months and a minimum of 20 hrs per week during the school year.

 

Training will be given to accomplish the following:

  • Drafting support using Medusa 2D system.
  • Drafting support using Unigraphics 3D/2D system
  • Engineering support work for projects as assigned
  • Release of drawings / documents through SAP & Windchill ERP systems

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards
  • Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide ESG & EHS Management systems, which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Completion of sophomore or junior year of BSc Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
  • Sound computer skills in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems
  • An Interest in rotating machinery and manufacturing is beneficial
