Engineering Data Coordinator - Full Time - Portland (OR)United States

 

Join our Services_AME  team within Services division in United States as Engineering Data Coordinator to help us take our organization to the next level. 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

 

  • Provides engineering support for PPC and specifies proper requirements for parts as required by the Sulzer QA manual
  • Creates and updates BOM’s related to design changes and updates engineering data in computer system to reflect these changes; assigns all new part numbers and structures raw material to manufacture the part
  • Takes out article numbers and creates material masters (part numbers) for pump components (Sulzer and non-Sulzer) in Sulzer's ERP system
  • Provides liaison between manufacturing and support groups as required
  • Participates in Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Performs special assignments as directed by department manager
  • Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and QEHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.  Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort
  • Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; associates degree In engineering or closely related field is preferred
  • Three years of experience in manufacturing processes, preferably with engineered to order products required
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferable SAP
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem solving skills.  
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
