Our R&D facilities provide a collaborative setting where practical experimentation is central to development. Pilot plant operations are key for testing and validating product performance under realistic conditions. You will work with advanced analytical tools and colleagues from various technical backgrounds, while contributing to our shift toward more data-driven approaches to improve products and processes.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute R&D projects from concept to completion.
  • Conduct pilot plant and laboratory test campaigns, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Design, operate, and maintain equipment; select measurement techniques and evaluate results.
  • Improve data acquisition and analysis; contribute to design guidelines and knowledge transfer.
  • Support internal training, publications, and cooperation with external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • We seek professionals with a PhD or 3-5 years of experience in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of mass transfer and separation technology is essential, along with experience and interest in applying data-driven approaches to research projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex R&D projects, ensuring timely delivery and high technical quality.
  • Prior experience in the visualization and evaluation of experimental data is required for this role.
  • Basic mechanical skills and hands-on experience with pilot plants are advantageous.
  • The ability to coordinate and prioritize various tasks and the motivation to bring in own ideas or to challenge our current procedures will be very valuable for this role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; experience with process simulation tools, CAD software, LabView, and Python is a plus.

What we offer you:

  • 1-year fixed-term contract offering a unique opportunity to gain industrial R&D experience
  • An innovative and agile environment where your work contributes to improving mass transfer efficiency and advancing sustainable technologies.
  • Excellent social benefits (holidays, pension fund etc.)
  • Attractive employment conditions
  • Access to a wide range of discounts on Everyday Shopping, Entertainment and Lifestyle
