Internship R&D Engineer (Data Science) - Full Time - Oberwinterthur, Switzerland

We are looking for an R&D Engineer, Data Science Intern to join our Chemtech, Technology & Innovation team in Oberwinterthur

 

Join our R&D team for six months and develop innovative solutions for the chemical industry and sustainable technologies, including carbon capture and emission control. Focused on digitalization, you will help drive data-driven product development from ideation to market-ready solutions within our Seperation Technology business unit. 

 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Collaborate and contribute to data-driven product development within the Seperation Technology business unit.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data from our pilot plants and production facilities. 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance. 
  • Play an active role in implementing new analytical technologies to support digital transformation. 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Student currently studying Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering (related disciplines welcome).
  • Exposure to data evaluation, modeling, visualization, and data-driven analysis through coursework and academic projects.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.
  • Curious, motivated team player with a knack for problem-solving and a desire to advance your career in a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative environment.
  • Fluency in English.
