Internship CCUS R&D - Full Time - Oberwinterthur, Switzerland

We are looking for a motivated R&D Intern to join our Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) team within the growing Chemtech division in Oberwinterthur, Switzerland.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Hands-on Testing: Dive into laboratory-scale experiments by conducting reaction, separation, and analysis tests. Support and contribute to pilot-scale testing efforts, ensuring real-world applicability of your findings.
- Data-Driven Insights: Process and analyze collected data to assist in refining methods and approaches, playing a crucial role in optimizing our CCUS processes.
- Discovery and Research: Be at the forefront of discovery by contributing to the identification and development of groundbreaking technical solutions in CCUS. Engage in literature research, perform experimental measurements, and structure data to uncover new possibilities.
- Reporting: Organize your findings and present them clearly in reports and internal meetings, making sure your contributions drive actionable insights and continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master or PhD degree in (Bio)Chemistry, Chemical / Process / Biochemical Engineering, or Material science.
- Laboratory experience, conducting inorganic chemistry experiments.
- Knowhow in seperation technologies and relevant analytics; exposure to particle technology is a plus.
- Skilled in MS Office 365 applications.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

This internship is suited for final year students eager to combine their studies with an industry placement, or, for recent Master or PhD students wishing to explore industry. The ideal start date is 1st of November with flexibility until the 1st of January.
