CCUS Products & Technologies R&D Internship - Full Time - OberwinterthurSwitzerland

We are looking for a CCUS Products and Technologies R&D Intern to join our Chemtech team in Switzerland.    

 

This unique opportunity allows you to work on pioneering projects tackling climate change, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with a global team of experts, and build a platform to develop technical skills that will distinguish you in your career.

 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Operate small and pilot-scale plants for carbon capture processes.
  • Support the maintenance and upgrades of carbon capture plants.
  • Develop and apply analytical methods to evaluate process tests.
  • Design test plans and analyzing experimental data.
  • Present findings through reports and internal meetings.
  • Contribute to the identification and development of new technical solutions in the field of CCUS through literature research, experimental measurements and data structuring.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s and/or PhD degree in Chemical / Process Engineering - or related field.
  • Laboratory experience in the field of chemical or process engineering, and respective analytical methods.
  • Good understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mass transport in separation technologies.
  • Hands-on mentality for support in plant construction and installation; team player, and eager to learn.
  • Proficient in MS Office 365.
  • Fluency in English - other languages welcome.
