Join our Water  team within Flow Equipment  division in Kazakhstan as Tendering engineer to help us to take our minicipal & waste water business in CIS countries to the next level.


In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Technical and commercial preparation of tenders and offers in close cooperation with outdoor sales engineer, authorized dealers and customers mainly in the CIS-region;
  • Clarification of demanding technical questions;
  • Regular customer contact, mainly by phone or e-mail;
  • Handling and processing of projects and orders, from elaboration of the quote including deadline tracking, coordination and monitoring of the complete process and finally invoicing;
  • Order-related purchase of materials and services;
  • Regular contact with the Sulzer factories in Ireland, Finland, Sweden and China;
  • Participation in on-site construction meetings and commissioning on a case-by-case basis;
  • Strong knowledge and follow through of compliance regulations and international trade compliance rules and regulations


To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Completed technical education, e.g.: Technical College or University Degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, environmental and water technology or similar;
  • Knowledge of minicipal water/wastewater business;
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable task in a technical environment (preferably pumps equipment);
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken;
  • AutoCAD, MS Office, CRM programs;
  • Basic commercial understanding;
  • Strong customer orientation, team spirit and flexibility;
  • Structured independent working style, solution-oriented analytical way of thinking and the ability to set priorities;
  • Pleasure in high-quality work, hands-on mentality, open communication style.
