Are you detail-oriented, highly motivated, and exceptionally organized? If so, we want you on our team! As a QC Inspector, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and precision of our gas turbine components. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough inspections throughout the various stages of component receipt, bulk strip, detail, and final build
- Using advanced measuring equipment such as callipers, gauges, micrometres, and Faro Arm for precise assessments (training provided if necessary)
- Collaborating with quality engineers to troubleshoot and manage quality-related matters
- Maintaining meticulous inspection documentation standards
- Displaying proficiency in quality processes, measuring tools, and dimensional reporting
- Liaising with project engineers to ensure seamless communication and workflow
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a Quality Control / Inspection role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting illustrated parts catalogues and engineering drawings
- Flexibility, teamwork mentality, and the ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Impeccable attention to detail
