Process Line Operator - Full Time - Netherley United Kingdom

Sulzer has an award-winning and global team at Alba Power that is passionate about delivering to our customers. We are the leading Independent Service Provider for overhauling ex-Rolls Royce Aeroderivative Gas Turbines.

 

The purpose of a Process Line Operator is to ensure meticulous cleaning and maintenance of machinery and equipment in a production or workshop environment, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Perform meticulous cleaning of aeroderivative gas turbine components
  • Skillfully process engine components using various chemical tanks
  • Conduct gritting and vapour blasting of engine components to exacting standards
  • Engage in hand cleaning of diverse engine components with precision
  • Operate the ball burnishing machine with finesse and accuracy

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a clean line/workshop environment will be preferred
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical instructions accurately
  • Demonstrated flexibility, teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently
