Mechanical Design Engineer 1 - Full Time - Navi Mumbai, India

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

  • Contribute in the team-work developing detailed solutions within the concept
  • Creating CAD models for the product ranges (parts & assemblies)
  • Create 3D Models, Manufacturing Drawing for the parts and assemblies
  • Generate support documentations from CAD (as applicable) like exploded views, Dim-drawings, P&ID etc.
  • Generate pictures from CAD to be used in manuals

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

Work experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering

• Experience in Sheet metal Design, Knowledge of manufacturing methods, limitations, Laser cutting and nesting principles, Welding of sheet metal parts, Understanding of mechanisms: bearings, lubrication. Experience in technical documentation preferably in mechanical equipment industry

• Knowledge of Sheet metal modules in CAD (Inventor), Vault. Knowledge of Fusion team will be added advantage.

• Basic knowledge of systematic approach to risk management, like FMEA.

• Capability to make simple strength calculations. Good knowledge of GD&T
