Job Assignment:

Join our team within the Flow Equipment division in Canada as an Application Engineer to help us take Sulzer Pumps (Canada) Inc. to the next level. 

 

In this role you will:

  • Maintain Supplier relationships
  • Review customer specifications
  • Select appropriate products, submit quotations and proposals
  • Provide technical support for sales and manufacturing departments
  • Customize product configuration with appropriate documentation

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • To be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; must be organized!
  • To be analytical, able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including diplomacy and negotiation skills

 

Experience / Educational background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technical field or equivalent in training and/or experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office and AutoCAD software
  • Experience with pumps, mixers, compressors, AC electric motors or other machinery is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in design and application of rotating equipment or equivalent
  • Experience in SAP an asset
