We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Tender Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the compilation, issue, and management of tenders and ensuring on-time delivery, commercial compliance, and appropriate risk assessment. Join us in providing customers with tailor-made solutions to their turnarounds through meticulous planning and scheduling.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Review technical and commercial requirements, compiling tenders meeting scope requirements and company regulations
  • Prepare accurate cost assessments considering tender scopes, manpower, logistics, and tooling requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments in coordination with sales, legal, and finance functions
  • Support sales with vendor pre-qualifications and tender follow-up to maximize order intake
  • Collaborate with other sales functions for materials and turnaround works

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Drive, motivation, and negotiating skills
  • Commercial acumen and customer service mentality
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to act independently and willingness to travel
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in Oil &Gas or chemical industries 
  • Experience in creating technical/commercial tenders is preferable
  • Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001/ISO45001, SCC standards
  • Proficiency in Excel and general computer/software skills
