We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Tender Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the compilation, issue, and management of tenders and ensuring on-time delivery, commercial compliance, and appropriate risk assessment. Join us in providing customers with tailor-made solutions to their turnarounds through meticulous planning and scheduling.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Review technical and commercial requirements, compiling tenders meeting scope requirements and company regulations
- Prepare accurate cost assessments considering tender scopes, manpower, logistics, and tooling requirements
- Conduct risk assessments in coordination with sales, legal, and finance functions
- Support sales with vendor pre-qualifications and tender follow-up to maximize order intake
- Collaborate with other sales functions for materials and turnaround works
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Drive, motivation, and negotiating skills
- Commercial acumen and customer service mentality
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to act independently and willingness to travel
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in Oil &Gas or chemical industries
- Experience in creating technical/commercial tenders is preferable
- Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001/ISO45001, SCC standards
- Proficiency in Excel and general computer/software skills
