Procurement Administrator - Full Time - MiddlesbroughUnited Kingdom

Join our Procurement team in Chemtech (ERA Region) to help us further develop our processes, so we can take Procurement to the next level.

 

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • End to end procurement  accountability using SAP for creation and managing of direct and indirect purchasing activities 
  • Key performance indicators (KPI’s) and monthly Purchasing Report of Supplier development and performance 
  • Vendor management including expediting to ensure On-Time Delivery, Product/Service quality and continuity of supply
  • Support in the selection and qualification of new vendors focusing on reduction of spend and consolidation of purchasing spend
  • Implementation and maintenance of consignment stock and vendor managed stock agreements 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in direct & indirect purchasing/sourcing, ideally in O&G or Chemical field 
  • Experience in SAP (Material Management functionality)
  • Experience in contract negotiation, contractual terms and vendor management
  • Able to build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Microsoft Office Software – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Location: We are based in Middlesbrough. Sulzer Chemtech has just moved to a new state-of-the-art facility on Tees Advanced Manufacturing Park (TeesAMP)
