Within Chemtech, our Tower Field Services (TFS) team specialises in maintaining and upgrading industrial towers, essential for processes such as distillation and gas separation, serving key clients in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and energy sectors.
As an Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) Advisor, you will ensure ESH compliance across our UK and European projects, working in both office and site environments. This role requires flexibility, as projects may involve staying away from home for up to 5 weeks. However, we fully support your travel and offer a healthy balance between your professional and personal life.
What You Will Do:
In this role, you will be a key figure in promoting and maintaining ESH standards across all project stages, from initial planning to project completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a role model for ESH excellence at both office and project sites.
- Delivering inductions, training, and communications to enhance awareness of ESH and Quality standards.
- Guiding project teams to ensure ESH requirements are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conducting audits and safety walks, assessing the effectiveness of ESH systems and identifying areas for improvement.
What You Bring:
- A relevant qualification in Environment, Safety, and Health, with a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Experience working with ESH management systems such as ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001.
- Knowledge of ISO 3834 and experience with VCA/SCC-P audits is a distinct advantage.
- Previous experience in the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Energy industries is preferred but not essential.
- A willingness to travel and stay away from home, with project durations of up to 5 weeks.
