The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and controlling the Accounting processes. The professional acts as the Manager for the accounting staff while being responsible for making sure that processes remain aligned, global process standards are “anchored”, any escalations are resolved and mitigation procedures are defined and implemented. Key processes in scope for Accounting Manager are OTC (Management of Customer Master Data & Credit, Billing management, Customer inquiry & dispute management, Collections management),  PTP (P‑Card/ T&E Card Administration) and Accounting reports.

 

We are looking for a/an Accounting Manager to join our Finance and Accounting team in México.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Responsible for effective liaising with DXC and the local Accounting teams
  • Serve as an escalation contact for accounting related issues
  • Closely collaborate with the Reporting & Analytics team to standardize Accounting report templates
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to assess the effectiveness of OTC/PTP processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders including sales, customer service, BPO provider (DXC) and other departments to streamline OTC/PTP processes, resolve any issues that may arise, and optimize end-to-end processes in Accounting

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Minimum of  7 -9 years of experience in Accounting, with at least 5 years in leadership role
  • Strong understanding of OTC and PTP processes, as well as general accounting principles and financial reporting; expertise in RTR is a plus
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, iScala) and accounting software
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in coordination and planning of work for assigned Accounting teams
