Field Service Engineer (Electrical) - Full Time - MakatiPhilippines

We are looking for a/an Field Service Engineer (Electrical)  to join our Services_EAPA  team in Philippines .
 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Responsibility to do rotating equipment service & repair, installation and commissioning on customer’s site.

  • Lead and direct of activities, schedule and manpower resources.

  • Pre-commissioning and commissioning of installed, repaired or overhauled rotating equipment.

  • If required supervise and assist with the assembly of rotating equipment and associated auxiliary equipment according to technical drawings and specifications.

  • Systematic fault finding, diagnosis and rectification on mechanical, electrical and instrumentation component and systems.

  • Assist in resolving problems and/or trouble shooting of the project works with consideration on quality, time and cost.

  • Lead for start up and testing of new installations/erections or overhauled units of rotating equipment including mechanical part, electrical part, instruments and control system

  • Monitor field sequence activities based on agreed scope and schedule and report regularly to office.

  • Ensure that all findings and work is clearly reported in writing.

  • Work assignment could be at shop or field service depends on customer projects request

  • Communicate with customer or third party on site as TSID representative

  • Ensures that all works and activities in the workshop are done in line with the ISO procedures, as well as the HSE and company regulations.

  • Preventing accident, conduct walk thru and observation.

  • Campaign using Stop Work Authority to their subordinate when any unsafe Act and condition then record by using observation card.

  • Review HIRADC effectiveness. Ensure working area safe for everyone.

  • Responsible to reducing AFR and ASR

  • Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses. Review and analyze accidents and near miss and making corrective action recommendations

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Fluent English spoken and written.

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering majoring in Instrumentation/ Control Systems

  • Relevant experience within related industry

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in in repair rotating equipment

  • Must have experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating equipment

  • Experience with commissioning of rotating equipments.

  • Willing to work long hours and regional assignment includes abroad includes in the shop.

  • Team player, multi-tasking

  • Well organized and structured

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Pro-active and self-motivated mindset
