Senior Project Manager - Full Time - Maitland NSW, Australia

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager  to join our Services_EAPA  team in Australia .

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery from contract handover through to closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors, maintaining alignment through effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Apply structured project management processes, including gate reviews, scope management (CMR), and performance monitoring tools.
  • Proactively identify and report project risks, implementing approved mitigation strategies as required.
  • Support the development of cost estimates for new opportunities by contributing to cost models, documentation, and stakeholder consultation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, participating in regular project reviews, reporting cycles, and client meetings.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Qualification in engineering or extensive site-based supervisory experience delivering complex projects
  • Over 10 years' experience in heavy industry, specialising in rotating plant and high-value project delivery
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and commercial skills with a solid grasp of contract terms
  • Proven ability to manage projects exceeding $2M, including cost control, reporting, and scope management
  • Experienced in leading estimating, tendering, and contract development processes
  • Willingness to travel to sites as needed to support project delivery
