Machinist (Heavy Industrial) - Full Time - Maitland NSW, Australia

We are looking for a Machinist (Heavy Industrial)  to join our Services_EAPA  team in Australia .

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

  • Follow strict safety procedures and use appropriate protective gear.
  • Utilize manual lathes up to 100t, with comprehensive training provided.
  • Operate milling machines and borers proficiently.
  • Read and understand complex mechanical drawings.
  • Replace or repair worn or defective mechanical assemblies.
  • Lift, tighten, adjust, and secure heavy objects as required.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Trade Certificate III Fitter and Turner.
  • Experience in mechanical machining of large equipment (pumps, fans, gearboxes, turbines).
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in accordance with quality assurance procedures.
