Senior FP&A Controller - Full Time - MadridSpain

We are looking for a/an Senior FP&A Controller to join our GF_Finance & Controlling, Accounting  team in Spain for driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making in close alignment with the local controllers. Leveraging advanced data analytics and insights, the FP&A Controller role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of budgets, periodic financial forecasts, and CAPEX planning and reporting.

  • Conduct profitability, performance, and procurement analytics to support strategic decision-making.

  • Perform financial planning, risk management, and continuous improvement of FP&A processes.

  • Oversee period-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance with IFRS, and financial integrity.

  • Provide data-driven insights and financial recommendations to business leaders.

  • Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with relevant QESH and financial regulations.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, with 5–7 years of relevant experience.

  • Preferably experienced in the manufacturing or industrial sectors.

  • Skilled in financial modeling, forecasting, data analytics, and financial software.

  • Strong knowledge of global financial standards and processes, with solid financial acumen.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate and influence effectively.

  • Proficient in English, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP systems, Tagetik, and Qlik Sense is a plus.
