Senior Consultant, Finance Strategy & Transformation - Full Time - MadridSpain

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Consultant, Finance Strategy & Transformation to join our team in Madrid. This role is key to supporting our ongoing finance transformation project, aimed at improving our controlling and reporting landscape. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of finance-related processes and tools, excellent communication skills, and the ability to visualize complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing tasks while serving as a sparring partner in finance-related discussions.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities: 

 

  • Project Coordination: Organize and facilitate meetings, manage timelines, and track progress to ensure the successful delivery of the finance transformation project.
  • Presentation Development: Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations to clearly communicate complex concepts and project updates to stakeholders.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and improve finance-related processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Sparring Partner: Provide strategic input and insights to support discussions on finance processes, reporting, and tools.
  • Tool Expertise: Leverage knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics) and Corporate Performance Management (CPM) tools (e.g., Tagetik) to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • BI Tools: Work with BI tools like Qlik to support data-driven decision-making and improved reporting.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  •  3-5 years of relevant experience in finance consulting, transformation projects, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, MS Dynamics) and CPM tools (e.g., Tagetik).
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI) is a strong advantage.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; ability to create visually impactful presentations.
  • Strong understanding of finance and controlling processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
