We are looking for a/an Senior Business Analyst for IT Transformation to join our GF_IT team in Spain .
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Understand and capture business needs through structured workshops, interviews, and data analysis.
- Build clear and concise requirement specifications that reflect both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Help evaluate whether existing Sulzer solutions can fulfill business needs or identify any gaps that require new development.
- Ensure alignment on solution direction across business and IT stakeholders.
Project Coordination & Delivery Support
- Support or lead selected initiatives (such as deep dives into process areas).
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture, IT Business Partners, solution architects and other IT stakeholders to ensure solution feasibility and strategic alignment.
- Support in business case elaboration.
Process Improvement & Standardization
- Apply standardized methods for requirements elicitation, documentation, and benefits tracking to help maintain consistency and quality across projects.
- Help build and roll out templates and tools to drive consistency across teams and initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Enablement
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, helping to clarify needs, manage competing demands, and align expectations.
- Facilitate structured discussions to challenge unclear or low-value requirements and prioritize accordingly.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience as a Business Analyst in IT or digital transformation projects, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial context.
- Proven ability to write clear, structured user stories and detailed documentation.
- Confidence in evaluating solution fit against business needs and company’s strategic direction to support stakeholder decision-making.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or hybrid models).
- Very strong coordination skills with a structured approach to delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and experience engaging with diverse stakeholders at different levels.
- Proven experience with managing challenging demands from senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of tools like Azure DevOps, Jira and LeanIX (or other EA tools) is advantageous.
