Internal Communication Manager (Chemtech) - Full Time - MadridSpain

We are looking for a/an Internal Communication Manager (Chemtech)  to join our CT_HQ & SBD  team in Spain to create strategic content and lead internal events that inspire our employees and foster a unified company culture. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring consistent messaging for the Chemtech division that aligns with Sulzer's vision of growth and excellence.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Developing and executing comprehensive internal communication strategies and plans that align with the company's strategy, objectives, and values.
  • Managing and coordinating all company-wide internal communication channels, including intranet, social media, and email newsletters.
  • Writing, editing, and reviewing internal communication materials, including executive messages, company-wide announcements, and other employee-facing content.
  • Organizing and executing company-wide events, such as virtual town hall meetings and webinars to foster a sense of community and pride among employees.
  • Creating high-quality, engaging audiovisual content for various communication channels. 
  • Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging and branding across all internal and external communication channels.
  • Analyzing and reporting on key metrics related to employee engagement, content performance, and other internal communication KPIs to drive continuous improvement and optimization.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • A minimum of five years' experience in corporate communications focusing on stakeholder and change communications, ideally in a stock listed company.
  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in communication sciences, journalism or other business-related field.
  • Strong track record in writing with a view to communicate in a simple and easily relatable style.
  • Demonstrated skill in producing basic video content, minor editing and familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro etc.
  • Team-oriented, independent and proactive way of working.
  • Experience working with digital platforms for content development and publishing is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (native/proficient level).
