IIoT Senior Solution Architect - Full Time - MadridSpain

As an industrial lloT Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive solutions that harness the power of the Internet of Things (IoT) to optimize industrial operations. Your expertise in IIoT technology, network security, and industrial systems will drive innovation and operational efficiencies across our facilities.
 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

•    Design and Development: Architect robust IIoT solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing industrial systems. Design network solutions that ensure secure data exchange between IoT devices and central servers.
•    Implementation and Testing: Lead the deployment of IoT devices and systems across industrial settings. Lead the selection of relevant technology building blocks or platforms and guide make/build/partner decisions. Test and refine systems to ensure stability and efficiency.
•    Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with IT and operational teams to create a unified strategy for IoT implementation. Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of technology integration projects.
•    Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support for deployed IoT solutions, including regular updates and troubleshooting as needed.
•    Security: Ensure all IoT solutions comply with industry-standard cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and operational technology.
•    Innovation and Research: Stay updated with the latest advancements in IoT technologies and industrial applications. Propose innovative solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.
•    Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all designed and implemented IoT systems

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
•    Proven experience as an IoT Architect, Systems Architect, or in a similar role. Hands-on development experience is a strong additional asset.
•    Strong understanding of IoT technologies, including sensors, actuators, edge gateways, and communications protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, CoAP, and HTTP.
•    Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and IoT frameworks/platforms.
•    Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
•    Strong communication and leadership skills.
•    Certifications related to IoT, network security, or cloud computing.
•    Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
•    Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in industrial settings.
•    Knowledge of data generation in industrial environments via DCS /SCADA /PLC systems and sensors.
