Join us in a pivotal leadership role as the Head Digital, AI and Data Services, where you’ll be at the forefront of driving our organization’s digital transformation. As a key member of the IT leadership team, you will lead initiatives that leverage data AI and other digital technologies to create significant business value and innovation.

 

In this role, you will shape and execute the global digital, data, and analytics strategy, collaborating with stakeholders across all divisions and business units. You’ll champion the adoption of data-driven decision-making, ensure robust governance, and foster a culture of data literacy throughout the organization. Your leadership will help us unlock new business models and enhance our competitive advantage through cutting-edge technology.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Define and drive the data and analytics vision, strategy, and practices in collaboration with senior leadership, including the CIO, Excellence Office, and CEO.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to drive productivity growth through process digitalization, automation, and simplification.
  • Leverage digital and data to create value propositions for new business models and customer engagement.
  • Owns the development of a data-driven culture, related competencies, behaviors, and data and AI literacy across the enterprise. Leads these transformation efforts by developing D&A talent and maturing the D&A capability.
  • Maintains authority and accountability for the data assets, and of the analytics assets used for decision making, and AI solutions that automate decisions and augment human performance.
  • Support Business Partners to identify business opportunities.
  • Manage a portfolio of high-impact digital initiatives, ensuring successful execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead regulatory and compliance programs related to AI, data and analytics, collaborating with legal, compliance, and assurance teams.
  • Organize and lead stakeholder reviews to monitor performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Continuously scout and advise on state-of-the-art technologies and solutions relevant to digital, data, and analytics.
  • Manage key vendors for technology and professional services.

 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Education in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer/Data Science, or related fields – further qualifications in legal, regulatory, project/service management, or enterprise architecture, is a plus.

  • 15+ years of management experience, leading complex digital transformations within similar global B2B matrix organisations – industrial or advisory.

  • In-depth knowledge of strategic data and analytics capabilities, able to effectively communicate insights and drive a holistic, data-driven approach to achieve organizational excellence.

  • Experience in building, managing, and working in fast-paced, agile, DevOps environments; key disciplines include Data Management, Analytics & AI, Industrial IoT, Digital B2B Customer Engagement, Digital Manufacturing and Process Automation.

  • Successful track record building, launching, and managing customer-facing digital products and services.

  • Possess a high degree of emotional intelligence to motivate and inspire a globally dispersed and diverse team (both on-, near-, and off-shore).

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, engaging with all levels, including C-suite, and championing across various levels, functions, geographies, and vendors.

  • Fluency in English is a must – German is advantageous.
