Global IT Controller - Full Time - MadridSpain

We are looking for a/an Global IT Controller  to join our GF_Finance & Controlling, Accounting  team in Spain to support the group with business analysis and drive simplification and standardization across the division to have one common dataset for business analysis.

 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities: 

 

  • Functional budget responsibility for the global Group IT organization across all divisions and management units
  • Manage centralized IT recharging model, accurate reporting of statistical information (necessary for recharging) and drive for continues improvement 
  • Monitor the IT Cost Reporting of Legal Entities, consolidate and report on budgets and costs
  • Establish and maintain consistent and timely financial reporting and ensures correct application of relevant system
  • Support the global efforts to improve finance and controlling
  • Prepare monthly closing for HQ IT Cost Centers and present financial figures to CIO
  • Ad-hoc analyses for CFO, CIO and Head Group Controlling

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

 

  • University degree in either Finance, Business Informatics or a related field with 5-7 years of professional experience
  • Good understanding of Controlling and Management Reporting, experience with analysis and visualization of (Finance) Data in a Corporate environment
  • Prior exposure to overhead controlling and headquarter processes such as IT Fees
  • Experiences user QlikView /-sense or similar reporting applications
  • Solid SAP FICO knowledge and in consolidation systems (Tagetik)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
  • Very good communication skills, able to relate to variety of stakeholders from Functions and the business
